Abstract

Continuous wave (CW) and pulsed Ytterbium fiber lasers in the power range from several Watts up to the high Multikilowatt range are commercially available standard products. The systems have been tested in numerous applications and are in stable operation for several years already. The demand for fiberlasers is rising fast and the future is promising.
