Abstract

The development of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area in an area is an effort to overcome the problem of traffic congestion. The Dukuh Atas area is a strategic environment that is planned to be a transportation movement node in Jakarta and is directed as a transportation mode interchange center with the TOD concept. This study aimed to identify the existing TOD concept criteria in the Dukuh Atas area and analyzed the suitability of the characteristics of the walking concept with the TOD criteria in the Dukuh Atas transit area. Dukuh Atas Station is one of eight MRT stations being developed into a TOD area in DKI Jakarta. The variables used in this study were based on ITDP (2017) scoring analysis with adjusted parameters based on the ATR/BPN Ministerial Regulation No. 16 of 2017. The results showed that among all walking element criteria of Dukuh Atas Area were only pedestrian paths that had complied with the TOD criteria because they had been equipped with tactile, shade, and protectors for the comfort and safety of pedestrians. Thus, the Dukuh Atas station transit area did not meet the standard criteria for the Walk/Walk element because only the pedestrian path criteria fulfilled these elements at 87.48 %.
