Abstract
Breast cancer in special populations (young, elderly, pregnant or lactating women, as well as men) requires special considerations for systemic, surgical and radiotherapy management. The tenth update of the Mexican Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer, carried out in January 2023 in the city of Colima, is published by its authors in different articles. This article includes an update on the management of breast cancer in special populations. The dissemination of this consensus contributes to the updating and homogeneity of breast cancer management criteria and the objective of this article is to present the update on the management of breast cancer in special populations.
