Abstract

In the present study; a one-pot three component reaction between4(4'-chlorobenzyloxy) acetophenone , thiosemicarbazide and different substituted benzaldehydes in absolute ethanol under reflux with stirring has been used to give a new series of pyrazoline derivatives {3-(4-[4'-chlorobenzyloxy)phenyl)-5-(substituted-phenyl]-4,5-dihydropyrazole-1-carbothioamide}in high yields and short reaction times. . The later compounds were converted to their corresponding thiazole derivatives through reacting with 4-bromophenacyl bromide in ethanol. , The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were identified on the bases of their FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and DEPT-135 spectra.
