Abstract

A number of environments which induce changes in the rDNA amount and/or the peroxidase isozyme band pattern in the flax variety “Stormont Cirrus” have been defined. A large number of environments induced changes in the rDNA amount, but only two induced changes in the peroxidase isozymes. The changes in peroxidase were not observed during growth of the plants under inducing conditions, but only in the progeny. © 1981 The Genetical Society of Great Britain.
