Abstract

IT has been shown1,2 that an empirical model of Nature exists in which many natural constants equal functions of π. The dimensional units are defined by the equations C Combining double low line 1 and hstroke Combining double low line λe Combining double low line 2 (λe is the Compton wave-length of the electron). Charge squared then equals 2a (a is the fine structure constant) and Mλ equals 4π (M is mass). © 1963 Nature Publishing Group.
