Abstract
Hydrogels have recently emerged as a promising material for broad range of biomedical applications including implantation, drug delivery and tissue engineering. New applications are driven by their unique physical and chemical properties making them chemically and mechanically biocompatible. In this report we assess non-invasive, nondestructive, and potentially high-throughput technique based on combined Brillouin / Raman spectroscopy and microscopy to interrogate hydrogels' viscoelastic and chemical properties. © 2021 SPIE.
