Abstract

An interview with entomologist Alan Kirman is presented. When asked about his research work in the early years of his career, he replies he worked on fairness, social choice, and on international trade. He also comments on his shift from general equilibrium to other project. Further he comments on the reason behind his objection against the standard rationality assumptions in economics.
