Abstract

Stress is not the enemy in preventing people from being their best. Stress is just energy. If it is out of control, it works against you. When under control, it is a very productive force and maximizes performance. Stress has its uses; it adds excitement to living, trains us to think quickly and to act decisively under challenging circumstances. Stress is also potentially dangerous. It is the responsibility of each individual to learn to make stress work for instead of against you. This paper is designed to help you make the quest for personal effectiveness rewarding and fulfilling.
