PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERPADU TIPE NESTED TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SMP N 13 KOTA BENGKULU PADA MATERI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe Nested terhadap Keterampilan Sosial di dalam pembelajaran pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas  VII  SMPN  13  Kota  Bengkulu. Sampel  penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik  purposive  sampling. Sampel yang digunkan dalam  penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII E sebagai kelas uji coba (eksperimen) dan siswa kelas VII D sebagai kelas pembanding (kontrol). Jumlah siswa yang terlibat  terdiri dari 29 siswa dari kelas VII E dan 29 siswa dari kelas VIID. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment Research tipe nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterampilan sosial dan lembar angket evaluasi diri keterampilan sosial siswa, lembar angket respon siswa dan lembar obesrvasi kerterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan Hasil perhitungan keterampilan sosial dengan menggunakan uji t, diperoleh nilai signifikansi  menunjukkan 0,00< 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh besarnya effect size pada keterampilan sosial menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengaruh yang sedang. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model  pembelajaran IPA terpadu  tipe nested  memberikan  pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa kelas VIIE SMPN 13 Kota Bengkulu.   Kata  kunci : IPA, Keterampilan sosial, Model Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Tipe Nested   ABSTRACT   This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Nested type integrated science learning model on social skills in learning about environmental pollution materials.  This study uses two grades VIII SMPN 13, Bengkulu .  The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique where previously the two classes had been tested for normality and homogeneity of their abilities that could represent the characteristics of the population.  The samples used in this study were students of class VII E as the test class (experimental) and class VII D as the comparison class (control).  The number of students involved consisted of 29 students from class VII E and 29 students from class VIID.  This type of research is a Quasi Experiment Research type of nonequivalent control group design.  The instruments used in this study were social skills observation sheets and student social skills self-evaluation questionnaire sheets, student response questionnaire sheets and learning implementation observation sheets.  Based on the results of the calculation of social skills using the t test, obtained a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.  The calculation results obtained that the magnitude of the effect size on social skills indicates that there is a moderate effect.  So it can be concluded that the use of the nested type of integrated science learning model has a significant effect on social skills for class VIIE SMPN 13 Bengkulu.  Keywords : Science, Socil Skill,Nested type integrated science learning model
