Abstract

In the WebCluster project, the use of document clustering to structure a collection of documents (the source collection), which is representative of a domain of interest of a particular user population, is proposed. The mediating access to the WWW (the target collection) is also proposed through the clustering constructed of cluster-based retrieval strategies together with WWW search engines.
