Abstract

Cuts to local authority (LA) budgets are leading to the introduction of ‘Fair and Affordable Care Policies’ by increasing numbers of local authorities in England. This commentary explores the real impact of such policies on Disabled people by drawing on my own experience as a non-practicing social worker, Disability activist and campaigner needing 24-hour support.
