Abstract

This research was conducted to see how online news framing is related to President Joko Widodo's affirmation of the government's commitment to maintaining efforts to complete the SDGs by ordering the strengthening of the green and blue economy. This assertion was viewed differently by some groups and also by the media. The researcher used qualitative research and Gamson & Modigliani framing analysis. Meanwhile, the online news that the researcher chose as the object of research was Kompas.com, VOAIndonesia.com and Antaranews.com. The results show that the three media construct news frames differently. Kompas.com sees it more normatively and sees the government's steps as just a part of solidarity with the movement of global countries. VOAIndonesia.com sees green economy and blue economy as global issues that are worthy of Indonesia's support because they are closely related to green products and green technology. Meanwhile, Antarnews.com emphasizes that Indonesia must benefit from this global movement.
