Abstract

We study theoretically the acoustic transmission for a multilayer structure where the characteristic acoustic impedance follows the values generated by the self-similar sequence called the "1s counting sequence". The transmission spectrum shows clearly self-similarity characteristics. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
