FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA BALITA USIA 12-24 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS DEDAI

Abstract

ABSTRAK ASI eksklusif adalah ASI yang diberikan kepada bayi sejak dilahirkan selama enam bulan tanpa menambahkan atau mengganti dengan makanan atau minuman lain. ASI eksklusif harus diberikan selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan untuk mencapai pertumbuhan, perkembangan dan kesehatan yang optimal. Puskesmas Dedai merupakan Puskesmas yang termasuk urutan ke empat dengan cakupan ASI eksklusif terendah dari dua puluh Puskesmas yang ada di Kabupaten Sintang. Cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif dalam 3 tahun terakhir mengalami penurunan, tahun 2017 sebesar 23,96%, tahun 2018 sebesar 72% dan pada tahun 2019 52,9%. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi ASI eksklusif pada balita usia 12-24 bulan. Jenis penelitian ini observasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional dengan populasi sebanyak 231 balita usia 12-24 bulan. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 68 responden yang diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling yang diambil dari 20 Desa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Univariat dan Bivariat. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (p value = 0,024), perilaku (p value = 0,009) dan perawatan payudara (p value = 0,043) dengan ASI eksklusif pada balita usia 12-24 bulan Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Dedai. Variabel yang tidak berhubungan yaitu dukungan keluarga (p value = 0,121). Disarankan kepada orang tua agar dapat lebih mengutamakan pemberian ASI eksklusif selama 6 bulan serta lebih aktif mencari informasi tentang manfaat ASI eksklusif. Exclusive breastfeeding should be given during the first six months of life to achieve optimal growth, development and health. The Dedai Health Center is the fourth health center with the lowest exclusive breastfeeding coverage of the twenty health centers in Sintang Regency. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the last 3 years has decreased, in 2017 by 23.96%, in 2018 by 72% and in 2019 by 52.9%. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding for toddlers aged 12-24 months. This type of research is analytic observational with a research design cross sectional with a population of 231 toddlers aged 12-24 months. The research sample was 68 respondents who were taken by proportional random sampling technique taken from 20 villages. Analysis of the data used is Univariate and Bivariate. The statistical test used is the test Chi-Square with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.024), behavior (p value = 0.009) and breast care (p value = 0.043) with exclusive breastfeeding for toddlers aged 12-24 months in the Dedai Health Center Work Area. namely family support (p value = 0.121). It is recommended for parents to give priority to exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and to be more active in seeking information about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding.
