Development Of Webtoon-Based Comic Learning Media On Human Respiratory System Topic For Class VIII Middle School

Abstract

Research on the development of Webtoon-based comic learning media on the material of the human respiratory system to increase the learning motivation of grade VIII junior high school students aims to determine whether there is a significant influence on student motivation after the application of the media developed by the researcher. Media development used the ADDIE model RD strategy, while to determine the effect on student motivation, the ARCS motivational questionnaire (Attention, Relevance, Confidence and Satisfaction) was used and then analyzed using the normality test and Paired Sample t-Test. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the average value of motivation from before and after the application of the developed media, so that it can be stated that the developed media has a significant influence on the learning motivation of Grade VIII junior high school students.
