KAJIAN DAYA TARIK WISATA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PANTAI SADRANAN DI GUNUNG KIDUL YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Sadranan Beach is one of the marine tourism destinations in Gunungkidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta by utilizing the coastal and marine nature as its main activities. Sadranan Beach offers marine tourism attractions in the form of small waves, white sand, snorkeling, canoeing, camping ground and sunset. The author conducted direct research at Sadranan Beach on October 23, 2022 with the aim of finding out the strategies carried out by Sadranan Beach in developing and managing tourism potential so that the sustainability of marine tourism at Sadranan Beach continues. The writing of this research aims to determine the potential, development efforts and role of government, industry, and society in Sadranan Beach. This research is to use qualitative methods using data collection techniques based on observation, interviews, documentation, and case studies. From the research results it can be seen that contributions from the government, industry and society can help increase the potential of Sadranan Beach. The importance of managing tourist objects in order to create conditions that are safe and comfortable. Availability of attractions, accessibility, amenities, and adequate supporting facilities to meet the needs of tourist activities in traveling. Creativity and innovation in promoting tourist attractions are also urgently needed to expand the market so as to attract tourists to visit.
