Percepción de estudiantes de Pedagogía sobre el desarrollo de su competencia digital a lo largo de su proceso formativo

Abstract

A qualitative study is presented, centered in detecting the perception of pedagogy students over the incorporation of ICTs in their formative process and the meaning for them in the development of digital competence. 8 focus groups were carried out where a total amount of 54 students from Universidad del Bio-Bio (Chile) participated and who were doing their professional teaching practicum. For the analysis of the information a mixed category process was carried out and the study of co-occurrence codes by means of the software Atlas. ti.v.7. The results show that the use of ICTs in their university life has been marked by the use of traditional applications such as word, excel or power point, not happening the same with other type of software.
