Abstract

The theory of village renewal originated from Germany, which has rich experience in theory and practice of village renewal. From the perspective of village renewal theory, the authors explores the planning compilation method of characteristic protection villages in this paper. Taking Gaozhai Village in Xing'an County of Guangxi as an example, the authors discusses the planning compilation strategies of characteristic protection villages from the aspects of data collection and current situation investigation, orientation and goals of village development, land space of life, production and ecology, ecological environment protection, renovation of villager' residential areas, layout of industrial development, public service infrastructure, and consultation so as to provide reference for the compilation of village planning.
