Capitalismo e racismo: uma relação essencial para se entender o predomínio do racismo na sociedade brasileira

Abstract

Resumo: Este artigo, utilizando a matriz marxista, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, demonstra que o racismo se torna uma das estruturas da sociedade brasileira por ser um dos elementos superestruturais do capitalismo brasileiro, favorecendo o processo de domínio e acumulação de capital da burguesia brasileira, na conjuntura marcada pelo Segundo e Terceiro Projeto de Identidade Nacional, compreendido entre meados do século XIX e meados do século XX.Abstract: This article, by using the Marxist matrix and by means of bibliographical research, demonstrates that racism becomes one of the structures of the Brazilian society because it is one of the superstructural elements of the Brazilian capitalism. This favours the process of domination and capital accumulation by the Brazilian bourgeoisie, in the context of the second and third national identity projects, between the mid-19th and the mid-20th centuries.
