Abstract

The management of intellectual property and technology transfer began to appear on the agenda of science and technology Brazillian institutions from the Innovation Law, published in 2004. In this article shows the trajectory of the of these institutions, o IFBA, in the implementation of the sector responsible for this management, sharing experiences that support for the strengthening of research and technological innovation. For multicampi institution, that process management, resulting from research and development of scientific and technological product or process in an appropriate environment, must be well structured, giving visibility to search in all the campuses involved. Such management is a major challenge especially for multi camping. The Center for Technological Innovation (NIT) is a sector that accompanies the process of innovation, intellectual property and technology transfer, plan and execute various actions to appropriate the intangible, safeguarding rights and make this technology exceeds institutional barriers, reaching the society, contributing directly or indirectly to economic growth in the country.
