Abstract

With a new viral infectious agent causing severe pneumonia identified in Wuhan as the SARS-Cov-2, the race against time for fast and safe diagnostic methods became a priority. Currently, for the diagnosis of Covid-19 disease in the acute phase, the RT-PCR technique in the first week and to know the formation of antibodies to infection after the first week, serology is available with two techniques. ELISA recommended for clinical use in hospitals and Immunochromatography, more studies are missing to recommend its use.
