Abstract

Amongst many nitrogen-containing heterocycles, carbazole frame is the building block of various biologically active compounds, including both synthetic and natural products of which its antimicrobial and antifungal activities are the most examined. In this review, 3, 4 and N- substituted carbazole derivatives and their antimicrobial activities are discussed (articles published from 2013 to 2022).
