Revealing tumor immunity after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

Abstract

Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is currently the most effective method for inducing tumor immunity. However, the diversity of target antigens recognized by donor Tcells has not been established. New studies show that tumor-reactive T cells are directed against diverse tumor-specific targets as well as minor histocompatibility antigens. © 2009 American Association for Cancer Research.
