[Let us care with plays?].

Abstract

Given the importance of play in the everyday life of hospitalized children, the purpose of the study was to identify the perception of the nursing team in the preparation of children and adolescents for hospital procedures at university hospital in Aracaju. We used exploratory search with a qualitative approach with the nursing staff of the pediatric unit. It is that professionals do not perform the techniques with the plays in their daily activities, but know the importance of this resource. For evidence, it is necessary to insert the toy in the treatment of pediatric nursing care. Beware of play is one of the most efficient means of assisting a child in hospital.
