Abstract

ABSTRACT The characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus resistances were observed from Squid (Loligo vulgaris) and mangrove crab (Scylla serratta) in Padang using differential medium CHROMAgar the Vibrio. Antibiotic resistances were tested on fourty two cultures of Vibrio parahaemolyticus by Krumperman diffusion method toward six kinds of antibiotic. The percentage of Vibrio parahaemolyticus resistances toward ampicillin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, gentamicin, sulfametoxazol, and tetracycline were 76,19 %, 19,05 %, 52,38 %, 26,19 %, 92,86 %, 26,19 % respectively. Value of Multiple Antibiotics Resistances (MAR) was 0,46. Keywords
