Abstract

The article discusses the possibility of using narrative in education. The authors investigate the appearance of the phenomenon of narrative, revealing its essence as the story of a person’s life, which he himself tells. Considerable attention is paid to the consideration of the concept of narrative in scientific works. The article addresses the issue of the possibility of using narrative techniques in family psychotherapy. The distinguishing features of the narrative and the possibilities of its use in pedagogical practice, in particular during lectures, are indicated. The aspects of the narration of the monological form of conducting classes are considered. The prospects of using narrative in higher education are emphasized.
