Abstract
Air through bonded nonwovens have a reputation for high quality and high performances in various applications in hygiene, filtration, medical and industrial markets, geotextiles, bedding and fabric softeners, among others. This article discusses the development of air through bonding, its advantages and disadvantages and its future and potential areas of growth. At the present time volumes and growth levels remain small.
