Abstract

An investigation carried out among the supervisory staff of a bus maintenance service provides some elements for understanding the consequences of the transformation of the technical subject in terms of action group deterioration, gradual loss of pleasure at work, loss of profession, identity destabilisation, namely on the masculine identity side, exacerbation of conflicts between mechanics and drivers, disappearance of the common world between the old an new generations.
