Abstract

The effect of greenery has been focused on as one of the mswer to realizthg both of energy-savthg amd comfortableness th summer. The purpose of this study is to amalyze the effects of the greenery environment th the residential area on residential energy consumption from the viewpohits of the residents' behavior for coothig, perception of outdoors environment amd energy consumption style. The results of questioimaire show that the residents who perceive the lush greenery th the yards of their houses are thclixied to restrain the use of air-conditioner amd are also motivated to select energy-savthg lifestyle.
