Abstract
There is growing interest in producing beneficial products from wastes using microbiomes. We previously performed multiomic analyses of a bioreactor microbiome that converted carbohydrate-rich lignocellulosic residues to medium-chain carboxylic acids. Here, we present draft metagenome-assembled genomes from this microbiome, obtained from reactors in which xylose was the primary carbon source. There is growing interest in producing beneficial products from wastes using microbiomes.
