Abstract
Inflatable Images, a division of Scherba Industries Inc. based in Brunswick, Ohio, is a leader in the cold-air inflatables industry. This type of balloon has become a common advertising tool over the last 20 years. The manufacturing process begins with a clay model, from which a vinyl template is made. A cutting machine cuts the fabric which is then passed to the sewers. The firm sells inflatables directly to beverage companies, fast-food restaurants and companies such as Disney, Michelin and the National Football League.
