Abstract
Basic to the discussion of soft tissue facial plastic surgery is the concept of free grafts, especially skin grafts. Clinical experience and research have revealed much information regarding the theoretical and clinical aspects of grafts. Their use is simple in principle and technique and, under optimal conditions, can be very rewarding. Treatment in a few cases is described.
