Abstract

Around 30-40% of Indonesia's domestic beef needs depend on imports, especially for Jakarta and its surroundings. For this reason, it is necessary to develop cattle farming and improve various sectors so that Indonesia does not depend on imports. Situational analysis research was conducted to determine the actual condition of cattle farming and prospects for the model of people's beef cattle partnerships financing. The research was conducted by analyzing literature and applying survey techniques with a direct interview with feedlot companies. In this study, corporations are used as feedlot companies appointed as data sources to find primary data related to this research. The situation analysis was carried out on beef consumption, cattle population and ability to meet demand, current partnership model, and potential implementation of a partnership model with Creating Shared Value. The situation analysis results show that the partnership model with the concept of Creating Shared Value can be applied and can increase the people's beef cattle farming business and encourage an increase in the fulfillment of beef needs.
