Abstract

The values contained in the folklore of the legend of Gunung Kelud and Lembu Suro are moral values. Moral values are values that develop in the community, such as manners in behaving and behaving, resulting in good values and behavior. By using mimetic studies, it will be easier for researchers to analyze the moral values that exist in folklore. This study uses qualitative research with content analysis methods because we take information on YouTube which contains content and information about the legend of Gunung Kelud and Lembu Suro. The number of young people who are starting to ignore the folklore in the surrounding area makes us feel that we have to show that the folklore must be preserved. Folklore is a story that is usually a benchmark for the origin of a place.
