Abstract
Experiment for guiding of xenon ions through single nanohole in insulating polycarbonate (PC) foil is reported. The counts of transmitted ions were measured using a two-dimensional position sensitive detector (2D-PSD). For the first time, transmitted process of ions through single nanohole has been studied. For the guiding effect exists in the hole, the application of ion guiding through single nanohole is proposed. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
