Abstract

In this paper, a comparison is made between two methods which are used for interpolation/extrapolation of frequency domain responses. The first method is the direct method based on the principle of a model-based parameter estimation and the second uses the properties of discrete Hilbert transforms based on the principle of causality. © 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
