Abstract

In the modern world occupational safety is of great importance in connection with the intensive development of the production sphere. The importance of occupational health and safety at an enterprise and their influence on the resulting effect of production activity has been considered. Legislative documents on labor protection are given. The working conditions and injury rates in various sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation have been analyzed. In terms of the economic activity, the construction industry is leading. The factors affecting the safety of workers at the production site have been considered; the ways of solving the problems of occupational health and safety have been suggested. The perspective ways of improving the occupational safety at enterprises have been shown.
