Abstract
The basic objective of this work has been to relate heritage and tourism. An attempt was made from an applied perspective, from Anthropology applied to development and specifically to tourism. Through the design of a reactivation proposal, we intend to reconstruct a past, and present, rich in culture and traditions in terms of the celebration of its festivities, as a way to consolidate a sustainable development in the geographical-historical-cultural field of the province of Salamanca. As expected results, I wish that this project of applied Anthropology, as has happened in other provinces of our country, may have its reflection in an increase in hotel beds, opening of rural tourism houses and creation of businesses associated with the commercial exploitation of cultural heritage ... that is, in the creation of employment, revitalization of the area and a brake on depopulation. And, as the applicability of the same, a proposal of revitalization of some traditional festivals is offered as a generating factor of local development, and the preparation of an ethnographic guide of the main traditional festivals of the province of Salamanca.
