Abstract

I delighted to write about the present third Thouroughly revised updated and enlared deition of the book. While representing the first edition in the year 1989, I had visualized microbiology like a sand blowing away in time. During these past 20 years it has still blown away very fast permeating practically every field of industry, medicine, agriculture, forestry and environment related human welfare. The scope of microbial processes and systems has enlarged tremendously.
