Abstract

Neuroendocrine tumors secrete hormones that may cause specific syndromes.1 We describe a patient with an endocrine pancreas tumor and liver metastases that synthesized suf- ficient cholecystokinin (CCK) to cause symptoms that are explained by high levels of CCK. Such neuroendocrine tumors are called CCKomas, and we have termed the resulting condition the CCKoma syndrome.
