Abstract

As a multifaceted and multidimensional phenomenon of the present era, globalization is relevant to and has comprehensive impacts on all aspects of state governance, social administration, and legal systems. All elements that constitute a nation’s legal system interact with the process of globalization and are influenced by it, including legal and academic ideas, legal science, the system of legal regulations and institutions, legal norms, procedures, and structural-legal institutions. In the process of modernization and legal reform under the influence of globalization, the issue goes beyond recognizing and embracing the diversity and differences among legal systems. It involves paying attention to those distinctive factors to proactively integrate the national legal system into the global legal system while preserving the unique characteristics of the national identity. This principle is at the core of the internationalization of a country’s legal system under the impact of globalization.
