Abstract

In anesthetized rats we examined whether calcitonin gene–related peptide activated renal pelvic sensory receptors and, if so, whether activation of renal pelvic calcitonin gene–related peptide receptors contributes to the inhibitory renorenal reflex response to renal mechanoreceptor stimulation.
