Abstract

Measurements of the viscosity of solutions of NaCl and Nal in acetonitrile-water mixtures at 25 °C, and of the self-diffusion coefficients of CH3CN and H2O in these liquids, using 14C and 3H as tracers, are reported. The results confirm the previously postulated preferential solvation of the ions by acetonitrile. © 1988, Verlag der Zeitschrift. All rights reserved.
