Abstract

The socio-ecosystemic crisis documented by the scientific community generates certain fundamental concerns. Addressing it is a national and global challenge. International politics propose Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), PACT, and the participation of production sectors within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Mexico, in addition to incorporating these proposals, is a country with important advances regarding environmental information it can profit from. The present work was developed within the framework of the Integralidad Gamma project. It uses theoretical, scientific, and technological tools to recognize the value in ecosystems and measure their functional state (integrity). It highlights the essential role played by institutional links and the need to create capacity through higher education, university social responsibility (USR) and the STEM approach. The goal is to generate the conditions and inter-institutional links to encourage synergy that can confront this crisis and move us towards a more sustainable society
