Abstract

We are constructing a novel merged-beams apparatus to study the cosmic origins of organic chemistry. With this, we plan to measure reaction rate coefficients of atomic C with molecular ions. Such chemical data is important for astrochemical models and observations of cosmic objects. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
