Abstract
This report discusses the applications of molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo methods to simple models of fluids. For computational simplicity, the discussion will be for two-dimensional systems. Furthermore, the discussion is restricted to models of hard-core particles for which temperature plays no role, and phase transitions are driven by entropic changes.
