Abstract

Masashi NEMOTO (ASAHI RUBBER INC., 1, Bouzukubo, Izumizaki, Nishi-shirakawa, Fukushima 969-0101, Japan) Continuous open cell in a Porous Macromolecule authors have developed is a porous material obtained by extracting the open cell forming agent with hot water. As polymeric materials, since it is selected from thermoplastic elas-tomers, thermoplastic resins, and rubbers, the basic characteristics of the selected polymeric material is expressed. Moreover, because it uses the extraction method as porous technology it becomes continuous open cell, thus it is breathable porous material. In this paper, the characteristics and production methods and applications, will be introduced while using our example.
