Abstract

The article discusses the successful strategies in liaison marketing for library instruction which include networking, emailing, calling, and requesting an audience with a department. The author mentions that the key to success in using these strategies in liaison areas is persistence. The Kimbel Library's instruction program was participated by 97% of freshman students in 2008 and increased the number of upper division courses which account for 25% of the program's instruction load.
