Abstract

Usage of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is one of the advanced methods of power transmission lines (PTLs) monitoring over wide area. For providing UAVs electromagnetic compatibility with strong PTLs electric field (EF) mathematical modelling may be used. For such modelling, analytical and numerical calculation are applicable. As processes of corona discharges formation are factors that deteriorate electrical energy quality, their monitoring with the help of UAVs is an important task. For this, physical and mathematical modeling of electrical physical processes at corona discharges in power electric engineering installations as well as their acoustic characteristics have been investigated.
